After-school Tutoring

Punta Gorda Middle School offers after-school tutoring for students who need additional support in core academic classes, including Math, English Language Arts, or Social Studies. Students should bring specific assignments or skills they need assistance with.
Tutoring will begin on September 28 and will be available Monday through Thursday from 4:20–5:20 p.m. until further notice, with the exception of 6th and 8th grade math which will begin on October 12th. A detailed schedule is provided in the link below.
All students must be picked up promptly by 5:25 p.m. Limited Late Bus transportation may be available for families who are unable to provide transportation. Students who require transportation may not begin attending until the Late Bus Permission Form has been signed and transportation has been confirmed. A link to the bus routes and permission form is provided in the link below as well.
The Student Code of Conduct applies during tutoring. Students may lose the opportunity to participate if they are repeatedly picked up late or do not follow behavioral expectations.
