Hello Eagle Families,
We had a productive week on campus! Our Wednesday Early Release Day was a huge success. During the morning, our students participated in meaningful Data Chats, reflecting on their prior test performance and setting clear, personal goals for what they seek to achieve this school year. In the afternoon, our teachers and staff took full advantage of their professional development time to collaborate on our School Improvement goals and refine strategies to best serve every student.
Please take time this week to review your student’s current course grades. Every quarter grade impacts their overall record, so it is critical that students stay caught up on daily assignments rather than waiting until the end of the quarter to address performance.
Academic tutoring begins on September 28th for students needing extra support in English, Math, or Social Studies. Tutoring is offered on various days from 4:20 PM – 5:20 PM. Please see additional information below.
To maintain a safe and focused learning environment, please remind your student that all personal toys, squishies, and non-academic accessories must be left at home. Keeping these items off campus eliminates unnecessary classroom distractions and helps set your student up for maximum academic success.
Please also remind your student that it is vital that they keep their hands to themselves at all times. Too often something that starts as a "joke" escalates to something serious. All students involved in a physical incident will be disciplined as we want to ensure the safety and well-being of all on campus.
