Girls on the Run is set to begin this week. If your child signed up, then you should have received information from the coaches! Happy running!
Spirit Week: October 6-10th
Monday, October 6th: Twin Day
Pick a friend or two or three and dress alike!
Tuesday, October 7th: Dress Your Age!
Each grade dresses up to represent a different stage of life.
6th Grade: Babies - This is your chance to get in touch with your inner toddler! Think pajamas, onesies, oversized bibs, and maybe even a pacifier or two. You could also carry a stuffed animal or a bottle to really sell the look.
7th Grade: Adults - It's time to get a job! Show up dressed for the workforce. This could be a professional outfit like a business suit, or you could dress as an adult from a specific profession, like a doctor, police officer, chef, or construction worker.
8th Grade: Senior Citizens - The elders have arrived! Pull out your best grandpa and grandma outfits. We're talking cardigans, high-waisted pants, floral dresses, glasses on a chain, and maybe even a cane or walker. Don't forget to practice your best "get off my lawn!" impression.
Wednesday, October 8th: Tropical Day
Get ready for a day of sun, fun, and island vibes. Let’s create a beachy paradise. This is your chance to trade your regular clothes for some Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, hats, leis, and grass skirts.
Thursday, October 9th: Character Day
Choose to dress up as your favorite movie/book/TV show character! Or choose a historian, sports figure, scientist, animal, etc.
Friday, October 10th: Color Wars by grade level
Which grade has the most school spirit? Let’s see! On this final day, each grade level is encouraged to go all out with their designated color:
6th grade: RED
7th grade: BLUE
8th grade: PINK
