Message From Discipline

Good afternoon! This past week our deans visited all classrooms to welcome students back and ensure the students were made aware of changes to the original discipline plan. We wanted to be sure our families are aware as well, as we are starting fresh for semester 2 and raising the bar slightly.

Discipline & Referral Changes
  • Minor Reset: All student minors will reset to zero on Jan 7 with the exception of cell phones.
  • 3-Minor Rule: A student’s 3rd minor (same infraction/reporter) now automatically converts to a major referral (previously 4).
  • Parent Contact Requirements:
  • 1st Minor: Contact via ParentSquare or phone.
  • 2nd Minor: Phone call required.

Also, every student received their second badge and a lanyard last week. If they lose their badge, they must wear a sticker. If students do not have their ID badge at the time they enter the building they will wait to be issued a sticker to enter (PPU and Bus side) If they obtain four stickers it will result in a discipline referral. New badges/lanyard can be purchased in the cafeteria each morning for $5.00. Lanyard is only $1.00.

Please review the SOAR expectation with students.

  • S – Strive for Success
  • O – Opt for Honesty
  • A – Act Responsibly
  • R – Respect Others

We appreciate your continued support as we hold our students to high expectations and help them SOAR through the second half of the school year!
