Thank you for an incredible start to the school year! We are so grateful to you for sending your students to school each day ready, prepared, and excited to learn. Their positive energy and enthusiasm have set a wonderful tone for the entire year.
All students should now have their official school ID badges. Please remind your student that badges must be worn at all times while on campus. If they lose their badge, they can request a replacement for $5.00. If they arrive at school without it, they will be issued a sticker badge to be worn on their shirt throughout the day. This is to maintain campus safety.
Our students have done an outstanding job keeping their cell phones turned off and put away throughout the school day. Thank you for your support at home with this expectation. Having electronic devices off or left at home makes a huge difference in minimizing distractions and keeping the focus on learning.
Please note that class schedules may still be adjusted as our attendance and class numbers settle. If you filled out the schedule change request form last week, these changes will continue to be fulfilled. The counselors are also leveling classes to best support our staff and students, so thank you for your understanding if your student’s schedule is changed. We appreciate your patience in this process. We kindly ask that all students double check their schedule in Focus for any adjustments.
Throughout this past week, teachers and staff spent time building connections, getting to know their students, and reviewing our schoolwide expectations. On Wednesday, we brought each grade level together for a special assembly. We took time to celebrate our students for their hard work last year, while setting the stage for the culture of excellence we are building together this school year. We are so proud to lead such a fantastic group of Eagles! During our meetings, we introduced the 4 "A"s that will guide our focus and help us reach even greater success this year as we create an “A” culture on our campus. The 4 A's include Attitude, Accountability, Alignment, and Achievement. Ask your child wht they mean to them!
